Sometimes when I read the Bible, I stop and ponder the power of certain verses, especially those that cut straight to the point, often honed to a simple truth, conveyed with very few words, like the verse above.

But, when you consider the Bible is God-breathed (2 Timothy 2:16), I guess it’s not surprising to find power in every single word in there, right?

I am encouraged by these simple messages that are God’s way of conversing with me. And, in today’s world when things can seem a bit out of whack, I truly appreciate that his simple truths are still simple.
